Flook was London's indie rock roll party; now it's my mouthpiece for all things music. Senior Repertoire Dev Manager @ PPL UK by day (my views not theirs) #UTA
Had a great time down in Brighton last week at @thegreatescape chatting with Chris & Andy of @CMU about @ppluk rights & performer data, @DDEXnet, and the role of both in the #RDx & #VRDB initiatives.
And it was also brilliant to see so many industry folk in person again!
#CMUTGE
It was fantastic to take part in the #cmuinsights segment of #TGE22 today. Our Repertoire expert Stuart Fitzsimon talked about PPL’s role in ensuring data flows between collective management organisations snd rightsholders around the globe.
Thrilled and proud to be on the panel at the launch of Get Paid Guide .

Great to be at the launch of the Get Paid guide, hosted by the @The_IPO and compiled with @PPLUK & @PRSforMusic among others. It should help musicians, songwriters, producers & all creative folk in music get credited, paid & understand their royalty statements. Important!
1/2 Along with @PRSforMusic, we have partnered with music tech company @AudooHQ on an initiative to enhance our public performance royalty distributions. Audoo’s Audio Meters™ will be installed in businesses including cafés, bars, hair salons, and retailers across the country.

Great to see @PPLUK post such an encouraging rise in its revenues, showing not only an industry gradually recovering from the worst effects of the pandemic, but more performers now seeing earnings being restored, on top of live music returning and growing amounts from streaming.
