I picked up my first ever Dale Murphy autograph. Dale has, in my opinion, one of the sweetest sigs in the hobby. And he was a heck of a ballplayer that I loved to watch in the 1980's.

At last weekend's card show, I refused to sell one of my cards at below comps. CL and ALT value had it at $414. I asked for $415, and he was pretty mad when I would not accept $390. Today's value, six days later, is $438. I'm learning more, as a semi casual seller, that it's totally fine to not feel like I have to cave to "comps" or frankly, move off of a card that I just don't want to. Gut check, in check.

AL MVP odds have shifted with Judge being effectively eliminated from the conversation. There's a lot of season left. This race will be an interesting one to watch.

I've been picking up some interesting WNBA greats cards recently. I can't predict the long term value growth on any of them, per se, but what it does for me is helps me broaden my hobby perspective. It keeps the collecting journey interesting and diversified. Candace Parker, Basketball HOF Class of 2026. 2022 Revolution, Vortex Cubic #'d /50, Pop 1 2022 Prizm Fireworks, Gold #'d /10, Pop 1

Super sharp Pedro Martinez Five Star, On Card Autograph, that I picked up this last weekend at a card show. My cost for this card, after some wheeling and dealing, and trading and flipping ... $5 🚀

I'm going back through some of my 2025 Topps Platinum Anniversary. This card is just plain cool, as many in the release were. Vibrant, interesting. It tells stories if you look at it closely and long enough.

I met up with Wemby last night at a bar, slugged some beers, and he said that tonight he's going to tell KAT that he's what the French call "Les incompétents". Good young fella. He's going places I tell you.
