Five releases in five days 📦. We made it. Release week is officially a wrap at FluentCart, and honestly, what a ride. Here is what the team shipped: 👉 Day 1 → New Variation Editor and first-class Packaging support 👉 Day 2 → One-click EDD to FluentCart Migration (tested on our own live site for 8 months) 👉 Day 3 → S3 Storage Wizard and native Cloudflare R2 support 👉 Day 4 → Advanced Inventory Management with bulk updates and full audit log 👉Day 5 (today) → Page Browsing History addon. Every order now carries the full trail of pages your customer visited before they bought. Not just five version bumps. Every release had real features, real improvements, real fixes. No filler. The team shipped all of it without cutting corners, and that is not easy. Genuinely grateful for the people behind this week. Taking a day or two to breathe. Then back to building. 🚀

Tax is not only an EU concern, and FluentCart 1.4.0 reflects that with built-in rates across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. It also treats Northern Ireland as its own VAT jurisdiction, a detail that catches out plenty of tax setups. If you need more precision, you can override tax by city and postcode, and even set tax inclusion per product variation. The defaults are sensible, and the overrides are there when a sale needs them.

Collecting EU VAT is not all-or-nothing. Where you collect depends on where you are registered and which thresholds you have crossed. FluentCart 1.4.0 lets you choose exactly which EU countries you collect VAT in, register your VAT details inline, and get a warning when a VAT ID is missing. New stores get a guided tax step during onboarding, so the configuration is done before the first sale rather than discovered after it. This used to mean extra plugins or a spreadsheet kept by hand.

Tax compliance is the part of running a store almost everyone dreads. So we spent 2 months rebuilding it in @FluentCartWP, working closely with EU tax and compliance experts who handed us the real-world rules that actually matter. The result: per-item tax, EU B2B reverse charge, built-in rates worldwide. All in the core. Free. No third-party tax service. Special thanks to @Jorgedreyes & Juraj Hudák for helping us to build this. Tax that explains itself on every receipt 👇 fluentcart.com/blog/fluentca…

@FluentCartWP - Know and trust the team - Supports a WordPress focused company - Easy Setup for Selling/Managing Licenses - No Fees (Fees are whatever the payment provider, Stripe in my case, charges, which is lower than the platforms in your poll choices)

On an EU B2B sale to a VAT-registered buyer, the tax should shift to them. FluentCart 1.4.0 handles reverse charge across borders, keeps tax-inclusive stores showing the right adjusted total to a business buyer, and adds a B2B badge on order pages.

I love the development speed of FluentCart, don't miss out on purchasing this before the LTD closes. I think having even a few licenses of this would be useful for future use. I wish I grabbed the FluentCRM LTD don't be me in a few years!

Cross-border B2B sales in the EU come with a rule that trips up a lot of stores: the VAT shifts to the registered business buyer. FluentCart 1.4.0 handles that reverse charge across borders, and keeps tax-inclusive stores showing the correct adjusted total to a business customer. Each order keeps the reason on file, including customer type, VAT validation, country, and rate, so your receipt and accounting export do not disagree. A new B2B badge on order pages makes the context obvious for your team.

A tax total shown as one lump sum asks the customer to take your word for it. FluentCart 1.4.0 breaks tax down per item and per rate everywhere: checkout, receipt, email, PDF, and the customer's account, all from the same summary card. Rebuilt EU-Tax is ready for your store!

Most tax bugs aren't code bugs. They show up for one country, one buyer, one cart and that's not how we do things! FluentCart 1.4.0 is coming and it's rebuilt VAT calculations so it breaks down per item and per rate on checkout, receipts, emails, PDFs, and admin, with reverse charge for EU B2B across borders. Stay tuned for details! Big update on the way!

Most store owners track conversion rate and call it performance. There are ten signals that matter more, and most of them show up as money once you look at them in order. We've broken it down here 👇fluentcart.com/blog/ecommerc…

US ecommerce sales hit $326.7B in Q1, 9.8% higher than the same quarter last year. The growth is real, but it keeps concentrating: Amazon and Shopify together now move close to half of US online spend. Smaller stores feel the squeeze on both sides.
