Frmr Manitoba NDP MLA Gord Mackintosh was on the team at the Meech Lake talks. Gord had to leave the talks to come back home to Winnipeg for the birth of his son, my SiL, Gordon Elijah. Harper gave Gordon that famous feather. It’s now on loan to the Cdn Museum of Human Rights.
