The world and its pleasures are exciting but fleeting; we have an ETERNAL reward to look forward to! True fulfillment can't be found in the things on earth, but in CHRIST. "Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." Colossians 3:2-4 As we start this week, as yourself these three questions: 1. How can I further God's kingdom this week? 2. Who in my life needs prayer this week? 3. How can I demonstrate Christ to my spouse/children this week? #focusonthefamily #faith #family #motherhood #parenting

When the disciples questioned Jesus’ teaching on marriage, His response was unexpected. In Matthew 19:10–12, He explained that singleness isn’t for everyone — but for those who are able to receive it, it can be embraced “for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.” He even presents it as something given — a gift for some. In other words, Jesus did not treat singleness as second best. He acknowledged that, for certain people, remaining unmarried can provide unique freedom and focus in serving God. At Focus on the Family, we believe marriage is a beautiful gift from God and a covenant to be honored and desired. But we also affirm what Jesus affirmed: both marriage and singleness can be blessings. Your value is not determined by a wedding ring. Whether married or single, God’s calling on your life is meaningful — and His design for each season is good.

The battle for your child's heart begins at home. Pray without ceasing over their salvation. Speak of God's love without pause. Show His faithfulness to them - teach them His ways.

Culture promises happiness, but forgets holiness. There is no permanence in the happiness culture offers. Holiness is eternal.

The strongest marriages aren't built on feelings, they're built on faithfulness. Thriving marriages aren't built on personal gain, they're built on intentional, selfless love.

Culture says: Marriage is about me, my feelings, what I want. We can see how well that's working out.

Marriages don't fall apart over night. It takes one compromise, one broken promise, one miscommunication at a time, over many times. Catch the little things before they tear apart the garden of your marriage.

The most radical thing you can do in today's culture is love God, get married (and stay married), have kids - and be happy doing those things.

Children don't just watch our marriages, they aren't unaffected bystanders. They build their understanding of what love MEANS through how we show love for our spouse.

When a child loses stability in the home, the whole world feels unsafe to them. We need to re-establish the importance of family relationships for the sake of future America.
