Preparing a nice "little" research (I'm lying... because I've covered 96 partnerships already) on great front-twos that rocked defenders and nets wherever they played.
You can suggest partnerships to add to the list. There are many, and it's impossible to remember every single one of them.
Will present the list once I feel like I've covered enough players to have a proper "best of"
A couple of 'house rules' - both players had to start / at least 10 games together / national team games only

Spain v Cape Verde is the World Cup’s only group-stage match where both countries’ highest points are volcanoes in Macaronesia.
Spain tops out at Mount Teide in Tenerife. Cape Verde tops out at Pico do Fogo on Fogo.
Stay tuned for more cutting-edge, geography-based World Cup analysis.

The strange thing?
We’re now competing with the World Cup, transfer season and the modern football news cycle.
And yet people are still finding time to revisit Euro 96.
Maybe because some football stories don’t really belong to the past.
They just wait for the right moment to be remembered.
🙌TO ALL THOSE HELPING US WITH OUR WORLD CUP CAMPAIGN - We will dm you the posts and images today. 🙏 still time if anyone else can help us support a great charity.

On This Day at the World Cup - June 15
🕰️ You could say this was the day that Italy last won a game at a World Cup. Their victory over England at Brazil 2014 kicked off as the clock struck midnight on the peninsula - on the evening of the 14th in South America.
