We are a group of 6 artists. We've been making performance since 1984 - questioning, pushing and breaking theatre to see what can be built from the wreckage.
This year, 2024, we are 40. It’s an extraordinary record: six artists sustaining a unique partnership and creating work together for all this time. As part of our celebrations we are presenting a Season of Performances and Collaborations in London.

We are delighted to be shortlisted for The Stage Awards
"In its 40th year, the company cemented its reputation as one of our leading
international collaborators and a company whose unwillingness to sit still
continues to inspire generation after generation of theatremakers."
It's wonderful to have our work recognised in this way, especially at the end of our busy birthday year which has included touring to 8 countries, a London season and UK tour, plus the launch of Complete Works Online.

"Mind blowing . . . dizzying virtuosity . . . Forced Entertainment's sense of burlesque has accents of an undeniable darkness in this devastating show." @LeMondefr 30.11.24
An upbeat spectacle which is slowly breaking apart, Signal to Noise summons a delirious late-night churn of fragments – dances, rehearsals, altercations, scenery changes and unexpected weather reports.

‘Cruel, comical game of repetition and reversal from Forced Entertainment’ ★★★★ The Stage
To Move in Time is a dizzying monologue written by Tim Etchells for performer and collaborator Tyrone Huggins, in which an unnamed protagonist speculates playfully about what he’d do if he were able to travel backwards and forwards in time.
