My thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the children who were killed in the tragic collision that took place yesterday in Mapleton Township, and with those currently being cared for in hospital. This heartbreaking loss is being felt across the community and the entire province. Let’s all stand together with those who are grieving during this terrible time.

This week’s trip to Washington was a chance to make the case for Fortress North America. The message I took to American business leaders and members of congress was simple: Workers on both sides of the border are better off when we drop tariffs and work together to build a stronger, more prosperous and more secure continent.

I had a great tour of two innovative Ontario companies, @EvertzTV and Ready Systems, meeting with workers and seeing firsthand how these businesses are creating good-paying jobs right here in Ontario.
