Happy 28th birthday Emily. 💕 Emily passed away when she was 19 from #MeningitisB, only 36 hours after her first symptoms. There are two types of meningitis vaccines - MenACWY and MenB. Few have had both. Get both. #ᴠᴀᴄᴄɪɴᴇssᴀᴠᴇʟɪᴠᴇs #vaccineswork #meningitis

Universities, professional societies, anyone organizing meetings. This applies to all leaders. Vaccination AND masking must be required. Otherwise, leadership is putting students, faculty, staff, and their kids and broader society, directly and intentionally in danger. 👇
Johns Hopkins University requires vaccination AND masking at all times indoors for all. Any university policy that does not require both is dangerous to students, faculty and staff. covidinfo.jhu.edu/messages-a…

We have the power to help prevent #COVID19 with the #COVID19vaccine. But many who lost family to other vaccine-preventable diseases weren't so lucky. Wondering why you should get the COVID-19 vaccine? Patti, Alicia, Henry, Judy and Carol know exactly why. #VaccinesWork

The value of vaccines goes far beyond the prevention of illness and disease. Good health is a gateway to improved educational outcomes, gender equity, and social and economic prosperity. #VaccineWork to bring us closer to a fairer world. #VWA2021 #WorldImmunizationWeek

Our Executive Director Patti received her first dose of the #COVID19vaccine! There is light at the end of the tunnel. Once the vaccine becomes available to the public, we'll need your help to make sure you and everyone you know gets vaccinated. More to come! #VaccinesSaveLives

📢Amazing news!! CoMO are thrilled to say that the #WHA73 have officially recommended the adoption of a global road map to #DefeatMeningitis by 2030. This is a world first and would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of many worldwide. bit.ly/3pqKu17

Fauci: US "could not possibly be positioned more poorly." Failure, denial, division opened a swath for the virus to cut through communities. The sooner we recognize we're all in this together and unite against the virus, the more lives we can save and the faster jobs will return.

I have lost 2 loved ones to POOR public health policy. One before it became “cost effective” to test the blood supply given to hemophiliacs. And the other because the MenB vaccine was not “cost effective”. This is the USA , right?

Colleges and other schools are not bubbles. Covid spreading on campuses will spread to homes, parents, grandparents, and others.

I agree with Dr. Fauci—there IS a lot we can do. We can control Covid if we follow the science and work together. bit.ly/31nd75f

Estimated cost of recent epidemics/pandemics: SARS (2003) - $40 billion H5N1 (2006) - $40 billion H1N1 (2009) - $45 billion Ebola (2014) - $55 billion COVID-19 (2020) - $8.8 TRILLION Investing in public health preparedness is FAR cheaper than the economic impact of a pandemic.

Have 1 minute today to sign our petition? Vaccination rates have fallen by as much as 80% due to #COVID19. Help us make sure students are protected against vaccine-preventable diseases like #MeningitisB when they return to college. #VaccinesWork bit.ly/2Zr2YT9

Didn't know there are two #meningitis vaccines? Maybe your best friend doesn't either. All it takes is a text. Text a friend and share that both the #MenACWY and #MenB vaccine are needed to be fully immunized against meningococcal disease.
