We are proud to share a meaningful milestone for Forever One Memorial Fund. We have now raised $27 million toward the completion of the Forever One Memorial, a lasting tribute of hope, healing, and remembrance honoring the lives impacted by the 1 October tragedy and the extraordinary resilience of the Las Vegas community. With funding secured for both Phase 1A and Phase 1B, the project remains on track to break ground this fall and open ahead of the 10th Remembrance in 2027. This progress reflects the incredible generosity of our partners and community, including a recent $5 million pledge from @LiveNation, along with support from @clarkcountynv ($10 million), the @lvcva ($5 million), @mgmresortsintl ($5 million pledge and the donation of the two-acre memorial site), and a $1 million pledge from the @VGKFoundation. More than $1 million has also been contributed through individual donations and commemorative paver sales. Since the immediate aftermath of the Route 91 tragedy, she has stood alongside survivors, victims’ families and our community through advocacy, healing and long-term recovery efforts. From helping establish the Resiliency & Justice Center to guiding the community-led memorial process, her leadership has helped shape this journey from the very beginning. Last week, on the eve of 5/8, the Route 91 community gathered at the future home of the Forever One Memorial for a special media event highlighting the educational and community programming opportunities this space will one day provide. Thank you to the more than 70 incredible volunteers who showed up with compassion and heart to help represent the 58 lives lost within the future Remembrance Ring, and to the local artists who performed in the space that will become the Community Plaza. We’re also grateful to the local media outlets who joined us to learn more about how the memorial’s educational and community programming will expand its impact far beyond the Strip. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came together to help bring the vision of this memorial to life. It was a powerful reminder of why this space matters — and why we continue moving forward together.
