Sutherland is in costume here, filming Paul Mazursky’s “Alex in Wonderland” for MGM, but Fonda does not appear in that film. My guess is that she’s visiting the set to talk about “Klute,” which they’d begin shooting in New York a few months later.
That clip comes from four minutes of footage from the Hollywood premiere of Roger Corman’s “The Tomb of Ligeia” (1964) at the Pix Theatre at Hollywood & Gower (now the Fonda).
