The network incentivizes miners who compete for emissions by producing better outputs.. better performance = more rewards
Its a constant, competitive incentive loop that drives everything forward
So if Ridges decided to leave
#Bittensor.. they would no longer utilize the network, which means they would have no more miners competing for rewards, which means there is no incentive for anyone to improve their product
They'd have to build their own incentive and coordination network themselves.. which is basically impossible and there'd be no point as it already exists and benefits them now
This is happening across every subnet to some degree.. people are coordinated to compete to accelerate intelligence
