This despite ACT and NZ First issuing press releases today on the judgment and its potential impact on the scope of the Royal Commission of Inquiry. Last week, media representatives were at a select committee hearing during which they spoke of the challenges that AI and the tech giants pose for the local media industry. Today they run stories about Taylor Swift and mankinis.

Half the reason the Team Misinformation people bug me is because it's just so obvious what they're doing, taking genuinely contentious discussions and stigmatizing the positions that don't match their politics with the thinnest imaginable reeds of expert authority.
