The technology we need to end poverty, restore the planet, & travel the stars already exists. At this point, all we lack is the will to use it. šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸ‡ŖšŸ‡ŗšŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ

I joined the other place. I thought about becoming CityDreaming again, but I decided to stick with FosterProgress, for now. Come find me!

Opened this app for a minute this morning and I had not one, not two, but THREE boob bots following me since yesterday morning. My reaction: ā€œwhat am I even doing here?ā€ I ask again: who are these boob bots for? Are there dumbass straight men actually DMing these bot accounts?

Since joining this site, I’ve averaged ~40ish posts per year. I’m already up to 18 posts on Blue Sky in the last 4 days. If you’re still hanging out here, and aren’t over there, you’re missing all my hot takes. Since I’m, obviously, a very important person, that is a tragedy.

Doesn’t this make more sense for…you know…February?

If you’ve been around, you know I normally refuse to do anything but deadname this website: it’s Twitter just as much as it’s the Sears Tower. BUT ā€œmake X your Exā€ is too good of a phrase to pass up! Make X your Ex! It’s actually just as toxic as you think it is.

Until Democrats start to listen to the people they seek to represent, they will continue to lose over and over again.

I don’t know who that ā€œFor Youā€ tab is for, but it is definitely not for me.

I had not just one - but TWO boob bots follow me this morning. I like my Colorado News Contributors list, and my Colorado Public Officials list, but both have less and less as those people abandon this bot-infested place. Every day I get closer to following their example.

My use of this site for politics is waning, but I want to gripe about one last thing: If you lose WI by 30k votes, but over 1.2 million adults didn’t vote in WI… If you lose MS by 275k votes but over 800k adults didn’t vote in MS… Trying to sway more Rs is not the answer.

Why does modern America underutilize the 8th Amendment? Denaturalization? 8th Amendment. Ending climate regulations? 8th Amendment. Ending DACA? 8th Amendment. Executions under only one party? 8th Amendment. Getting rid of Social Security? 8th Amendment. Am I crazy @ElieNYC?

Even on abortion: You took something away, without due process, that we had for 50 years which is resulting in death and disfigurement? It’s cruel. It’s unusual. 8th Amendment!

Political Twitter has become truly unbearable. I’ve never seen so many people be so wrong about so many things in such a short period of time. Democrats don’t live in reality: they live in the fantasy Republicans built to fool them.

The government needs to start printing a tax ā€œbillā€ for every taxpayer that tells them, after their return, how much they actually paid for each individual government department/service, including if that amount is $0 (or negative dollars) because they don’t actually pay taxes.

Thank you so much to the one person that responded to this, whoever you are. I’ve been looking at my music list from circa 2009 (when I started my Twitter) and it’s basically just @JamesBourne selling the Busted tour along with @Eve6 and @wheatus talking about politics. Lol.
I know I have near-zero followers, and that this poll will get 2 responses if I’m lucky, but which of these Twitters should I reorient to:

Meanwhile, in Denver…

The temperature high was 81 degrees in New York on Wednesday NOVEMBER 6, by the way. But America elected a climate change denier because the black lady didn’t have the right message for people who never went to college. We are very close to watering our crops with Gatorade.

The surest sign we have a good economy is that people voted for Republicans. In my lifetime, people have only voted Republican when there is a good economy, giving them the luxury of focusing on limiting civil rights. In bad economic times, people can’t afford to vote for hate.
Yes, it is true: every Democratic President since FDR inherited a recession (or depression) economy from their predecessor. @KamalaHarris would be the first Democratic President who wouldn’t face that challenge in at least 100 years.

He’s a horrible, repugnant, immoral man but he’s old, stupid, and lazy. He hires incompetent people. His previous downfall was his inaction, not his actions. He’ll cut taxes for billionaires, as Rs always do, but will he work hard enough to do anything else? #InfrastructureWeek

As always, Dems will learn wrong lessons from this election. They’ll say the most right-wing campaign since the 1990s, which didn’t mention climate change, civil rights, or ending excess wealth, was not right-wing enough. The more they look like Rs, the more they lose to them.

@JoeBiden didn’t change the tax code. He didn’t end tariffs. He supported Israel’s inhumane ā€œwarā€. He was anti-immigrant and tried to pass the most conservative border policy ever. He ended masking and refused to mandate vaccines. With policies like these, who needs enemies?

And don’t even get me started on what he DIDN’T do when it came to improving the courts. I’ve always said that the ā€œbad feelingā€ people have about Biden is that he didn’t reverse our Democracy’s decline. But sure. They weren’t right wing enough. Clearly that was the problem.
