Education Centre staff enjoyed a Chanukah themed lunch made by Paul Finkelstein with help from a couple of festive elves today. Proceeds from the lunch went towards the Foundation for Education. We also challenged each other to a (first annual?) dreidel tournament! Chag sameach!

Today we listened & learned. We reflected upon & held space for the stories of survivors of residential schools. We remembered the Indigenous children who did not return home. Wearing orange is just a beginning: together we will continue to move toward reconciliation. #NDTR

Thank you to Windmill Family Campground for selecting us as one of the charity recipients from the funds raised at their annual casino night. This $1,000 will help enrich the learning of many students or cover the costs of basic necessities for students in need in our area.
