Foundation Scotland is 30 this year, and to mark the occasion, we’re posting 30 short but interesting facts every day in June. 13. Did you know… Foundation Scotland ran two Millennium Awards schemes - one of only a few organisations in the UK to deliver multiple programmes.

To mark our 30th Anniversary, we’re posting 30 daily snapshots of Foundation Scotland over the last 30 years. 12. Did you know… we created the Loch Ness Marathon as a fundraising initiative. We sold it three years later, having already generated significant charitable income.

30 Years of Foundation Scotland in 30 Facts: Fact 11🥳Did you know…the Caledonian Challenge raised around £900,000 annually for Foundation Scotland at its peak, helping fund community projects across the land. Over the years, one of our donors completed the challenge 15 times!

We're 30 years old and we’re sharing 30 interesting facts throughout June🥳 Fact number 10: We were first known as the Caledonia Foundation, then the Scottish Community Foundation. We became Foundation Scotland in 2012. We are not considering another name change any time soon.
