Podcaster Mark Gordon came to interview Chairman Dani Dayan and, during a tour of a collection room, randomly came across a mangled metal spoon that had saved his uncle's life during the Holocaust.
Mark's uncle had it in his pocket when he was shot at while fleeing a train taking Jews to a Nazi concentration camp. One of the bullets struck his leg, but the spoon absorbed most of the impact, allowing him to keep running and escape.
