This week, we celebrated coming 3rd place on the Street Tag Schools Leaderboard. Special congrats to Kosi, who won a tablet for coming in second place among participants across the top 3 schools. Well done to Kosi and his family and to everyone who helped us reach 3rd place!

We kicked off Healthy Living Week in style with a successful parent workshop all about different ways to eat a balanced meal on a budget; ways to keep active and a look into the hidden sugar in every day foods. Parents and children learnt a lot & thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

We are proud to be working towards a Hedgehog Friendly Campus Award & with Hedgehog Awareness Week just around the corner, here are some things that you could do at home to help: always check for hogs before mowing the lawn; go organic or create a wile space! @hedgehogsociety

Reception had some special visitors from @animal_edge farm at Foxdell today! The children had the chance to pet and observe rabbits, a chicken and guinea pig. They loved feeding the goats and brushing a beautiful pony called Beau. 1/2

The children showed lots of care and learnt about how to be safe before and after meeting the animals. Fun fact - did you know that goats don't have bottom teeth? Thanks to @animal_edge for bringing in the animals today!

We have had an exciting morning: the Dental Association have returned to Foxdell! Dentists from all over the country - Scotland to Jersey - have set up a clinic to check our pupils' oral hygiene as well as moderate each other's judgments. What do you think of their set up?

During the Easter holidays, our amazing Family Workers took lots of our families to London for an exciting and fun filled day out! They visited the @NHM_London and @sciencemuseum Thank you to our amazing team; look out for their next adventure!

This week, representatives from the Bahá’í, Muslim, Christian&Jewish faiths joined us, offering insights&experiences for students&parents. We had hands-on activities, led by our visitors, giving everyone the opportunity to learn in interactive meaningful ways. Thank you to all!

Following on from our visit from children's author Andrew Clover last week, we received some lovely feedback about his visit to our school. It was wonderful seeing our children create some amazing writing at the end of a fun and inspirational day. Thank you!

Ducklings have arrived at Foxdell! We were very excited to see the first one hatch this morning. Hopefully, another will join him soon so that they can move to the bigger cage together. Keep an eye out for more egg-citing updates! #easterducklings #incredibleggs

World Book Day has been a blast this week! On Thursday the children shared their favourite books to read throughout day and staff read their favourite books to children! We loved all the effort that went into dressing up! 1/2

The week ended with our visitor Andrew Clover, author of the Rory Branagan Detective books. Andrew inspired KS2 with his Seven Secrets of Storytelling. Reception also loved creating a funny story about their teacher! Thanks for visiting our school Andrew!2/2

Year 1 visited Whipsnade Zoo to visit all the wonderful animals. They were in luck as they saw a wide variety of animals and they managed to keep the rain away until it was time was return back to school! Can you name all the animals the children saw?

This week we have welcomed a special visitor, Raj, who delivered a vibrant and engaging Holi assembly for us on both sites. He shared the origins of Holi & brought to life the powerful story of Prahlada and Holika. We would like to wish everyone who celebrates a very Happy Holi!

Our choir had a fab time singing and booging the night away at @YVconcerts at the Ovo Arena Wembley. We were so proud of all the children that attended. A big thanks to staff who helped children in the lead up to the concert!
