Great start by USA 🇺🇸 Captain America with an insane move. And then there’s this: Someone sitting next to me made this comment, “why does our coach look like a mechanic?” 😂

If you need a Thursday ten minute meditation, here it is.
One of the most mind blowing 10 minutes of video Christianity has ever produced.

It is not merely a matter of bringing out the monstrance, but of allowing ourselves to be brought out of our selfishness and indifference, of a comfortable, private faith, so as to respond to His invitation to conversion, to change our perspective, and to welcome His presence which transforms us and makes us builders of a new world.

The pope received his answer tonight: 600,000 attended Pope Leo’s youth vigil in Madrid and 60,000 attended the Bad Bunny concert!
Pope Leo XIV on the papal plane to Spain: “Do [young people] want to see Bad Bunny or do they want to see the pope? Many will go see Bad Bunny, but I think there will also be a few here to see the pope. And that says something, you know.”

God gives us all we need to love Him well. Sometimes what He gives us is internal, sometimes external. This is why The Body of Christ is so essential; we are to be interdependent, working together to be who God made us to be. Our origins as a species and as individuals is communal- it’s hardwired into us to be and work together. Community is not an option for Christians, it’s an essential element and expression. Strive to be a good member of your Christian community. God requires it, the community craves it and your soul desperately needs it. #talkedtotheboss

I attended game 3 of the NBA Finals. A life long dream and my first and only Finals game. It was a very sterile atmosphere. As the article notes, it felt like a random January game. I felt more electricity on my couch from tonight’s TV and arena presentation than in person in ‘23

“In you, my God, I place my trust.” These words from today’s Responsorial Psalm remind us to stop living, working, and serving as if everything depends on us. Instead, may we entrust our lives to the Lord and rely on his grace. Then, peace will replace anxiety.

Yes, Jake Scott got 2 big INTs to get the MVP, but Manny got 17 tackles in Super Bowl VII (10 depending who you ask) which is high for a DT. Should’ve been the MVP. A legend. Far too many of the 72’ers are leaving us 😢 RIP
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Manny Fernandez.

Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring. They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died. France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend

When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” (John 21:15)
