“We have to respect the league,” says Rowett on Sky Sports, when asked about his team selection. What about respect for the fans? And what about self respect?

Relegation confirmed. If they gave that effort from second half all season we might have been ok. A huge reset needed on and off the pitch

Bringing Winks on is a disgrace. Rowett hasn't got a clue. A club that has no standards and accountability. This is exhibit A. And what is Rowett thinking when they're in a positive position too? It's turned things sour again.

Can’t wait to see the likes of Winks and most of the squad leave this summer. Build a new team around the good academy players and have a big reset.
Heated exchange between Leicester player Harry Winks and Leicester fans. Oh dear.

Archbishop John Wilson: “Our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV is showing the world that in the face of war, God demands peace. As Pope Leo has made clear, we cannot stand by and allow the message of the Gospel to be abused. “As bishops, we are not politicians, nor statesmen, nor do we pretend to have all the answers. But as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, we know that each of us is called to be a beacon of His peace. We know that in the face of war, where so many innocent lives will be lost, we must be clear that God demands peace. “Please join me in praying for peace and for Pope Leo XIV. May we all be as courageous as our Holy Father in proclaiming the truth that God demands peace”.

🦊 #LCFC | Leicester City have moved a step closer to relegation after defeat at home to Swansea City. They're now four points clear of danger after Oxford United and Portsmouth both won. 🗣️ "They folded after showing a little bit of effort. When Swansea scored, you felt that they would not get back into it," says Matt Piper.

Heading to League One, no fight from this team. Need to clear out most of this squad and rebuild with youth team. What a sad way to mark 10 years after winning the Premier League

Members of the Oscott community are praying for the repose of the soul of Professor Judith Champ, who died peacefully in the early hours of Easter Sunday morning. Judith was a Dame of the Order of St Sylvester, an academic who devoted herself to studying and promoting Catholic History, and author of a number of books. She served Oscott over several decades, as a lecturer, member of the formation staff, Director of Studies and, after retirement, as a trustee and supporter of the college. Judith was also a friend, colleague, and mentor to so many, through her work in research and in the formation of men for the Catholic priesthood. We give thanks to God for the gift of her life and for her unwavering dedication to the research and preservation of Catholic history. She had a particular gift for bringing history to life to illuminate the mission of the Church in our own times, a gift which she generously shared in her work in the formation of men for the priesthood. We pray for the happy repose of her soul. She left this life on the day of the Lord’s resurrection; may she now share in the fulness of His risen life.
