Star Energy, formerly known as IGas, has given up a drilling licence in Cheshire and has put two plots of land up for sale 🙂 PEDL190 included the two potential fracking sites at Bridge Trafford and Mickle Trafford and also covered land at Ince Marshes.

Energy minister @mgshanks has indicated that the proposed ban on #Fracking won't include low volume processes, despite him hearing that the proposed fluid volume at #Burniston is higher than the volume injected at #PrestonNewRoad which caused earthquakes.

Laughing stock @Cuadrilla_Res has lost its bid for more time to restore its #PrestonNewRoad shale site after councillors refused permission. @frackfreelancs said the time had come for Cuadrilla to "clear up their mess, pack their bags and get out of town".
