The first visit of any UK minister to Zimbabwe in 7 years. On his current official visit The Right Honorable Lord Collins of Highbury @Lord_Collins visited us at @kumindafresh yesterday, facilitated by The UK ambassador to Zimbabwe HE @PeteVowles and the Embassy @UKinZimbabwe I told the Baron Collins of Highbury that the business would have not been possible without the funding partner and co owner Fred Matenga who is based in the UK Further evidence of strong ties between Zimbabwe ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ and UK ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง The Deputy Leader of the House of Lords was impressed by how we work with the small scale farmers to grow crops for the UK market, packed by 100 happy women in the pack house. Kito watermelon. 15.25KG grown organically using Vermicompost, vermiwash and rabbit urine. We had to feed bees in our watermelons to increase the sweetness. Watermelon farming is super profitable. Letโ€™s do this

Say you have 2 permanent workers working on the ha. You pay them 100 each including food for 4 months that's $800. Transplanting inotoda casual labour that usually is 120 labour days and that's $3-5 depending, so let's say $360 minimum. Management cost $900 that's $2060 labour
