I met with BC’s Minister of Ed & Child Care, Lisa Beare, during the BCSTA Academy. A few days later, as Chair, we had a meeting where I advocated for 11 key priorities that reflect our district’s urgent capital needs & systemic funding requirements.📚 #sd23ed #sd23ed #sd23learns

Amazing rendition of A Christmas Carol with OKM’s Triple Threat Theatre Company! The clever production, rich moral themes & set in a Victorian world, made for an authentic period experience. Kudos to Ryan Grenier, the cast, crew, & everyone involved — it’s a must-see. Bravo! 👏🎭

We joined the BCSTA T-O Branch Tour of the Secwepemc Museum. Guide Jackie shared her family’s stories with warmth and honesty about Residential Schools, leaving us with a deeper truth of the resilience and trauma they endured & the 215 missing children. Thank you Kamloops SD#73.
