Great to be part of the ENOUGH Food Expo! Wonderful work supporting our families facing food insecurity along Frederick’s Golden Mile. I was proud to help with the free grocery distribution, providing over 4,000 lbs of protein, non-perishable items, and a pick of fresh herbs.

It was such a pleasure to be at City of Brunswick Pride in the Park yesterday evening! Alongside Mayor Nathan Brown, I declared June as #PrideMonth and honored the LGBTQI community. It was also great to see so many talented vendors sharing art, crafts, home goods, and more.

Last stop on the #MACoInFredCo board retreat tour is @FITCInc, the county’s innovation center. 93% success rate for businesses working with FITCI. Advice from their director to county leaders: “Hire an entrepreneur to run your innovation center or business incubator and watch it grow.”

MACo’s Board is in beautiful Frederick County for their spring retreat, learning about economic development, tourism, and business development sites and initiatives. Tour started with the County and City of Frederick giving an overview of what makes Frederick unique, then first stop is the Civil War Medicine Museum, where county leaders are hearing about the history of the region and the sustainability efforts around the museum building itself. #MACoInFredCo
