I just wanted to share this quick Benoit story… I remembered showing this rough cut to the team and heard Benoit call this the most epic trailer for a tshirt. I believe he said it was giving him “Elden Ring boss battle vibes.” Man did I enjoy working with him 🥺

From late 2022. This is a rough edit I animated and cut together for the Clone-X tshirt.
Often times you have to use 'Scratch Audio' to try and capture a certain rhythm or feeling. Essentially you are using temporary audio/dialog that you will replace later. I loved this cut!

Sad to see this news about Benoit aka @benitopagotto passing away.
I had the opportunity to work with him on numerous RTFKT projects. I enjoyed working with him while also chatting about other random things from Sneakers, to Lamps. Yes lamps.

It's clear this film was made for the Minecraft fans and I had a blast working on it!
