Just heard from Dairy UK: 'milk free' remains a permitted statement, so hopefully brands who wish to use it will continue to do so. #milkallergy

Just three months ago following the Ravneet Gill / Bake Off incident, I said that TV presenters overseeing food shows or segments need to be trained in basic allergy / coeliac / gluten training so as to be able to intervene when something like this happens. Spelt is wheat!

Just a reminder to anyone who watched @BBCMorningLive today that spelt flour is NOT gluten free. I thought it was important to mention this incase anybody is now confused. It would be great if @BBCMorningLive could correct this info asap. Thank you x @Coeliac_UK 🧡
