No idea if this is parody. But this logic is unironically consistent with the arguments of many modern MLs. In arguing for the development of productive forces without emphasizing the empowerment of the workers, in practice they argue for the empowerment of the bourgeois.

When I was involved in SDS, it seemed like SDSers were basically being constantly arrested. There were practically endless calls for phone zaps. Which I find a little baffling given that SDS mostly just does protests (and funnels people into FRSO).
