Cuba is arming its civilians, running defense drills, and openly preparing for an American invasion, and you heard none of it on the evening news. The wars that actually happen are the ones nobody's allowed to debate while there's still time to stop them.

Every superpower wants the same thing China already has: a boot that goes on the neck without anyone's hand on the boot. The faceless bureaucracy used to be the dodge. Nobody to blame, just the system. People are finally getting wise to that, so the plan is to hand the system to an algorithm.

A doctor who went to patch up the wounded in Gaza found himself working almost entirely on children, shot in the head or the legs from a thousand yards out. The casualties have a clinical shorthand now, a designation for a kid who survives with no family left to claim him.

He stood on principle. Now it's our turn. Free Ian Freeman.
Ian Freeman, the last and bravest of the Crypto Six Bitcoin prisoners, refused to take a plea deal when he had done nothing wrong. For asserting his rights, he was given 8 years in prison. Go, learn about him, and sign the petition to get him his pardon: freeiannow.org/

Without government, who would arbitrarily decide which employees inside a private company are allowed to use a tool built by that same private company?
JUST IN: Anthropic says a “huge percentage” of its own employees are now barred from accessing Fable 5 & Mythos 5 under U.S. restrictions.

The Federal Reserve has convinced generations of people that watching their savings evaporate, their wages chase rising prices, and their purchasing power collapse year after year is "normal." If a private counterfeiter destroyed 96% of your money's value, he'd be called a criminal. When a central bank does it slowly over a century, economists call it "monetary policy."

The same people who can bankrupt businesses, destroy jobs, and regulate entire industries into the ground somehow expect us to believe they can centrally manage wealth better than the people who created it in the first place. Someone creates companies, products, jobs, industries, rockets, satellites, payment systems, and electric vehicles used by millions of people, and her response is "he has more than me, take it." No discussion of incentives. No discussion of capital formation. No discussion of what happens when governments start taxing unrealized wealth. No curiosity about the consequences. Just the eternal politics of "gimme." Economic illiteracy wrapped in moral self-righteousness remains economic illiteracy. Every time.
Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. The typical American household would have to work more than 11 MILLION years to make Elon Musk's level of wealth. We need a wealth tax.

If you haven't signed the petition to free Ian Freeman yet, do so. 1,500 signatures and counting! Every day Ian remains in a cage is another day stolen from a man whose real "crime" was challenging financial control and defending the idea that peaceful people should be free to transact without permission. Read his story. Make up your own mind. Then add your name. change.org/p/free-ian-freema… Some causes are larger than one person. Financial privacy, individual liberty, and the right to live peacefully without political persecution are among them. Free Ian Freeman.

Our government has become so detached from the spirit of the Declaration of Independence that many Americans would mistake its authors for extremists today. A document written to justify resistance against centralized power now hangs on walls while the people in the buildings beneath it expand surveillance, debt, regulation, war, and control. The Founders spoke of government as a servant with strictly limited powers. Modern politicians speak as if every aspect of your life is their jurisdiction.

Liberty begins the moment you realize your life belongs to you, and that every power demanding ownership over it bears the burden of justification, not the other way around. Most people never notice how much of their life is spent asking permission. Permission to build. Permission to work. Permission to travel. Permission to spend their own money. Permission to defend themselves. Permission to speak too loudly against the wrong institution.

The tragedy isn't just Ian. The tragedy is how easily people learn to accept cages for peaceful people. How quickly outrage fades. How rapidly freedom becomes an abstract slogan instead of something worth defending. Ian Freeman has lost years that can never be returned. Years of sunlight, friendship, laughter, and ordinary moments that make a life a life. A free society should never become comfortable with that. Read his story. Sign the petition. freeiannow.org

This is what a police force looks like when its primary mission is harassing peaceful people into compliance. Chasing murderers, armed robbers, and violent gangs carries risk. Questioning ordinary people, writing citations, enforcing victimless laws, and demanding papers from harmless citizens is safer. "Oy, you got a permit for casually existing in public? Got a license for walking? Authorization for standing there looking suspiciously free?"
