Tonight we gathered to launch the Optica Freeform Optics Industry Summit around dinner. The summit will take place over two days at Optimax. Looking forward to learning lots from what industry is doing, their successes, their challenges.

We completed our 10th year of the fall industrial affiliates board (IAB) of the Center for Freeform Optics (CeFO). We will launching 4 continuing projects and 4 new projects. Will post next week on our website. Amazingly inspiring group. More to continue….

ISMAR 2020 for AR/VR starts tomorrow. Good program always. It is quite a diverse group but with a preference for computer science type of papers due to the IEEE affiliation. Some of us have been intruders for some time! Since 1990s. Join in.
