The biggest thing I learned while writing Freeing Energy is that solar and batteries are TECHNOLOGIES, not fuels. This means that batteries will see relentless, non-stop improvements in price, performance & size. Case in point below. WOW.

The US gave birth to the modern global solar industry. However, solar manufacturing leadership was ceded to Europe, Japan, and most recently, China. The Inflation Reduction Act will change all that. The US is poised to be a solar powerhouse once again!
