This is the first time in UNC history that a pair of teammates (Wilson and Veesaar) have each had 5 dunks in the same game. Only two other times have a pair of teammates even had 4 dunks each in the same game: Stackhouse/Wallace vs. Texas in ‘95 and Wilson/Veesaar vs. Kansas.

Yeah, Wright with 75 in 2007 is the “official” record for the era in which I have complete dunk data (since 2003-04). I have 32 of the 34 games from 1995, and Rasheed Wallace had 85 dunks in those games (and certainly some more in the two missing ones).
Replying to @twmarks_ @JvRich_
I *think* Brandon Wright had the most in a single season, but not 100% confident in that. @FreeportKid has charting going back pretty far and has definitely posted about it in the past

Drake Powell's sense of exploration with his pull-up jumper is paying off. Points per pull-up attempt: - 27th %ile in EYBL 16-U - 39th %ile in EYBL 17-U - 71st %ile as a HS senior. Able to get low on set ups and take long gathers while staying on balance. More consistent squaring of shoulders with added core strength will mean further gains. The leap in competition at UNC will be an adjustment, but I buy the progress over time.

Jae’Lyn Withers has reminded me of the 2006 version of Quentin Thomas this season: • often makes an impactful/energetic contribution that leads to a spurt/scoring run • plus/minus darling • erratic/inconsistent enough that he can’t be trusted on the floor in key moments

Danny Green evolved from this type of bench energy guy (who was always a /- favorite) as an underclassman to a guy who was indispensable in a larger role (that included clutch minutes) as a JR/SR.

UNC's %Poss used in the primary break putbacks has been steadily decreasing since the Duke win. But the Heels have remained ultra-efficient in P&P over that stretch: Duke: 31.1% (1.61 PPP) Clem: 21.4% (1.33) UM: 20.4% (1.38) Syr: 17.2% (1.55) VT: 16.4% (1.67) UVa: 14.2% (1.88)

In 45 close-and-late minutes this season, Harrison Ingram's stats are: 8-9 2-pointers 4-7 3-pointers 4-6 FTs 84.9 TS% 28.6 pts/40 11.7 reb/40 2.7 asst/40 2.7 blocks/40 Davis is UNC's go-to guy in the clutch, but Ingram has been a great (and efficient) second option.

Armando Bacot and RJ Davis have each played more than 4,000 minutes in a Carolina uniform. The only other pair of UNC teammates to share the court with that many minutes was Sam Perkins and Matt Doherty in the 1984 postseason.

RJ Davis is shooting 54.1% (33-61) on clean 3s this season, but only 22.0% (11-50) on contested ones. He's 49.1% (26-53) on catch-and-shoot 3s, but only 31.0% (18-58) on off-the-dribble 3s. And, related to those facts: 43.8% (28-64) with Cadeau vs. 34.0% (16-47) without.
