A message from the founder, @Flip_Research: Hi everyone, You may have noticed points this week are lower than usual, so I wanted to explain why. As many of you know, we’d targeted a mid-July season-end for points earning. But two things have become increasingly clear: - Crypto market conditions are very poor right now, and sentiment is extremely low. Even the most hyped projects have struggled badly with their launches lately - Despite our best efforts, we haven’t yet gained the traction we’d hoped for with AlfaClub. Together, we’ve built once of the most complete social apps in the space - in my opinion on-par with, if not better than many projects with heavy CEX and VC backing. I strongly believe that AlfaClub just needs the right spark to go viral. And we are ready for it when it comes. That said, it would be unrealistic and irresponsible of me to push ahead with our current plan unchanged. Doing so would ultimately hurt you the most - the community who’ve supported us throughout this journey, and for whom we’re incredibly grateful. We’d planned for this scenario. Within our total allocation of 1 billion points, we set aside a contingency amount in case we ever needed to extend the season. Alongside this, we’re slightly lower points per week on an ongoing basis. Together, these changes let us target an October season-end, while still committing to our cap of 1 billion points issued, preserving every point the community has already earned without any additional inflation. This has been an incredibly tough decision, and I’m sorry it’s come to this. But it felt like the best way to protect our existing community, whilst continuing to reward future platform usage.
