ALT Adult First Day School for October 31 at 9:20 am, in meeting house and online: Presentation on Faithfulness Groups by Janice Thomas and Kathleen Sydnor. Janice worships nearly every Sunday with the Belgium-Luxembourg Yearly Meeting. She became a Quaker in Brussels in the late 2000s and has always considered that meeting her "Quaker home". She has also been part of a monthly online Experiment with Light group in France for four years. Because France Yearly Meeting occurs this weekend, we are particularly grateful to Janice for her willingness to participate in a presentation for Live Oak First Day School this Sunday.
Fathfulness Groups help participants pay attention to spirit moving in their lives as they seek to walk in the light, faithfully following divine leadings in service and ministry. While a Clearness Committee helps individuals reach clarity on a particular concern, a Faithfulness Group is a practice of holy accompaniment.
