It was a performance to remember for Australian midfielder Zach Duncan as he scored and got an assist for his @loucityfc side in the @USLChampionship 🟣⚪️
The 26-year-old played 83 minutes for Louisville City FC in their 2-0 away win over Phoenix Rising to strengthen their position on the Eastern Conference ladder. Louisville City sit in second position and Duncan has played a vital role for the club having played 12 from 13 league matches.
In three days, Duncan and Louisville City FC take on Brooklyn at home with a chance to chase down league leaders Tampa Bay.

The 2026 @nplnnsw @AustraliaCup qualifiers have concluded and Weston Bears make it back-to-back appearances on the national stage after defeating NNPL heavyweights Edgeworth Eagles 👏
The Bears defeated the Eagles 1-0 and they join Maitland FC as the other representative from the Northern NSW NPL competition in the Round of 32.

Although Australia international Awer Mabil was away on international duty, his CD Castellon side continued their battle for promotion to the top tier of Spanish football. Unfortunately CD Castellon went down in the first round of the playoffs on aggregate to UD Almeria ⚫️⚪️

For the fifth time in the nation's history, Timor-Leste will participate in the ASEAN Championship after they overcame Brunei over two legs to book their spot. Amongst the Timorese team are several Australian-based players.

In a state that is heavily dominated by South Hobart FC and Devonport Strikers, there is a big surprise in the Apple Isle as Kingborough Lions United Football Club defeated Devonport Strikers on penalties to lift the Lakoseljac Cup and qualify for the R32 of the Australia Cup. It was a dramatic finish in the final with the Lions levelling the scores in the dying seconds in the match to force a penalty shootout.

Australia international Deni Juric spoke to Polish football media outlet @WeszloCom to talk about his time in Poland for @WislaPlockSA as well as his expectations for the Socceroos ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup: 👇
🇵🇱:
"The quality of the [Ekstraklasa] is higher than many people abroad might imagine," he said.
"I was pleasantly surprised by the stadiums, infrastructure, pitches, and overall level of organisation. This really made a very good impression.
"Initially, I considered several different options (...) the key was the conversation with the sporting director and coach. They presented me with a very specific vision. They explained how they wanted to play and what role they envisioned for me. It was also important that the team played with a two-striker system, this model suits me very well."
🇦🇺:
"My debut for the national team was a dream come true for my father. Even before my brother played for Australia, he kept saying he believed we would both play for the national team one day. I'm proud that it happened.
"Everyone has welcomed me very well. Australia is a multicultural country, and this is clearly visible in the national team. We have players with diverse backgrounds, but we form a very close-knit group.
"The United States is the host nation, so they'll definitely be able to count on their fans' support. However, I don't think it'll be the deciding factor. Turkiye, on the other hand, is a team with a great temperament (...) playing against them always brings a lot of emotion.
"Paraguay, on the other hand, represent a typically South American style. They're a very aggressive, combative team that doesn't back down from any challenge. My teammates have told me that matches against South American teams are completely different from those against teams from other continents.
"During the last training camp, I didn't expect the quality of training to be so high. The level of international football is exceptional. The pace and intensity of the game are even higher than in club competition."

A new manager coming up for Jordan Bos at Feyenoord 🇳🇱🇦🇺
Australia international Jordan Bos will have a new manager after his World Cup duties as Robin van Persie has been sacked from his role as head coach.
The Socceroo played an enormous amount of the season under van Persie's tenure as head coach as the club finished almost 20 points behind league winners PSV Eindhoven and had early exits in the Champions League qualifying as well as Europa League league phase.

It's another milestone and historic moment for the Okon family as 17-year-old Gianluca Okon helped Italy lift the U17 Euros in a penalty shootout win over Belgium.
Eligible for Australia, Gianluca Okon played the entire match for the Azzurri in their penalty shootout win over Belgium, after scores were tied at 1-1. Okon also scored a penalty in the shootout to see Italy lift their third U17 Euros title.

Another win to top the group for a @SydneyFC youngster representing Indonesia 🇮🇩⭐️
Earlier today, 16-year-old Eizar Tanjung started for Indonesia's U19s side in their 2-1 win over Vietnam in Medan. The Sydney FC NPL player featured for 64 minutes as the win sees Indonesia top their group in the 2026 ASEAN U-19 Boys' Championship ahead of Vietnam, Myanmar and Timor-Leste.
At 16, Tanjung has already featured significantly for Indonesia at a youth level having represented Indonesia in the 2025 U17 FIFA World Cup.

V League 1 season completed for Harry with a fourth placed finish 🇻🇳🇦🇺
The 2025/26 V League 1 season has concluded and Australian manager Harry Kewell has helped lead his @hanoifc side to a fourth place finish after 20 matches in charge 🟣⚪️
The former Socceroo took over the club in November last year and within 20 matches at the helm he was able to win 12 of them, scoring 40 goals in the process and conceding 22. After a tough start to his managerial role in Vietnam, Kewell's Hanoi FC side oversaw a positive 2026 especially in April and May with plenty of wins recorded.

A massive shoutout to Australian manager Arthur Papas on leading his Cerezo Osaka side to a third place finish in the J1 100 Year Vision League 🙌
Cerezo Osaka defeated FC Tokyo 5-3 on aggregate in the positioning playoff as the win caps off a remarkable tournament result ahead of the J Leagues rescheduling.
Overall, Papas led Cerezo Osaka in 20 matches and won 12 of those, with his side scoring 56 goals in the process - an average of 2.8 per match.

Switzerland men's national team manager Murat Yakin spoke to the media ahead of their clash against the Socceroos: 👇
"I want to see from my players that we have the quality," he said.
"It's a new test, a new opponent and that's why we're happy to play here in San Diego. [Against Mexico], the game was very open and now we have to be ready tactically and also physically.
"All the players are fit. I have the option of making eleven changes, but it's not like we're going to make countless changes at half-time (...) Against Qatar, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Canada we have different systems (...) We can test again against Australia to make sure we're ready for the start of the World Cup. A lot can change depending on the match situation."
