I miss the days when a Tim Horton's coffee anywhere in Canada tasted the same. Every time. Everywhere. Always. Nowadays, I find there are just degrees of terrible along the spectrum of taste. #timhortons

Not that I needed the #stanleycupfinal to reach this conclusion. It's clear Dobes was the best goaltender in the final 4 and likely the #NHL playoffs.

Back in the lock-out shortened season, I was invited to travel with the Canadiens for a game on March 16, 2013 in New Jersey---in what was Brendan Gallagher's 24th NHL game. On that trip, as a rookie he carried himself like a veteran: professional, composed, team-first. Gally's character was evident from Day 1. 14 years, 911 games. What a career. #GoHabsGo @brendanshowbiz @grantmccagg

"There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen." This quote paraphrased from a speech given by Lenin is perfect for the Canadiens playoff run. #GoHabsGo @brendanshowbiz @ArponBasu @MAGodin

Canes up 3-0 in the first and what also sucks is 40% of next year's season tickets cost is due on Monday. Perfect. #GoHabsGo @brendanshowbiz

We know teams down 3-1 in a NHL playoff series win the comeback just ~9% of the time. Approximately 360 series all-time. Last ~22 Years(2004 –2026) In that span, 14 teams pulled it off. The Canadiens did it 4 times — 2004 vs Boston, 2010 vs Washington, 2014 vs Boston & 2021 vs Toronto — Habs hold the record. All four wins on the road. By no means is the suggestion here that the Habs will pull off a comeback against this juggernaut Canes team. It is noteworthy, however, that teams up 3 - 1 in a series coming home to play Game 5 win 55% of the time and 57% when they've won Game 4 to go up 3-1. Habs are 4-2 in their last six Game 5 road appearances. The two losses were elimination games. Finally, this Canadiens team has played .700 on the road all season including the playoffs and has pleasantly surprised its fans countless times this year.

Carolina Hurricanes were #2 in the NHL this season in shots for (32.2/game) and #1 in shots against (23.9/game) — but they’ve elevated to another level in the ECF vs Montreal. Regular season shot differential: CAR 8.3/game MTL -1.5/game ECF differential: CAR 20.2/game MTL -20.2/game Through 4 games: Shots: Carolina 148, Montreal 67 In a word: Impressive. #LetsGoCanes #GoHabsGo

7 days rest between Round 1 and Round 2. 12 days rest between Round 2 and the next series. The Hurricanes have been well-rested all playoffs. Montreal had 3 days rest in between their round 1 and 2 and 3 days between rounds 2 and 3. Montreal players saying that it's not a factor is commendable, however, it's most certainly had an impact. #GoHabsGo

This game was nothing but flotsam and jetsam. What a great send off to the Montreal Canadiens fans. #GoHabsGo @brendanshowbiz

Shots on goal for the Montreal Canadiens are as elusive as a subterranean purple frog or a solitary aardvark. For those of you who think that season ticket holders don't have any vested interest over and above the non-paying fan, think again This is not entertainment. 17 regulation wins and 15 regulation losses during the season and we already know what the playoff record is. Unacceptable. #GoHabsGo @brendanshowbiz

I went to see Nick Suzuki play against Ottawa 67's in the 2019 OHL final in Ottawa. He's wearing #9. Watching players like Nick and Hutson before they hit the big leagues is a real privilege. #GoHabsGo

20 years ago, Montreal stole Games 1 & 2 in Raleigh — 6–1 and 6–5 — stunning the eventual Stanley Cup champions. Then Justin Williams' stick found Saku Koivu's eye in Game 3. Carolina took four straight to close out the series. There is a strong probability this series will begin the same way. #GoHabsGo

Is there anyone better than on a post- game hockey show than @frankcorrado22? Answer: No

Woke up in Amsterdam and seeing the game six score was really a surprise. I have lamented their performance on home ice all year long. The Canadiens don't have home ice advantage, they play poorly at home overall, they can't harness and leverage the energy of the crowd, they can't seize the moment and other teams love playing at the Bell Centre. In my professional career I always used to say "show me the data". The data doesn't lie. Regular season: RW-17 RL-15 Playoffs: RW -1 RL-3 OTW-1 OTL-1 What I'd like to see at home games is less pomp and ceremony and more wins. #GoHabsGo @brendanshowbiz @Rick1042 @grantmccagg
Habs will be no worse than second best overall road record this season in the league with P% .683. Only 9 regulation losses. #GoHabsGo

From 2021–22 to 2025–26, the Montreal Canadiens went from 55 → 106 points. Not linear—but a clear upward trajectory. This is what a rebuild curve with momentum looks like. #GoHabsGo @ivandemigoal

Making my way to the train station in York, UK this morning wearing my Canadiens toque — a cyclist rides by and shouts 'Go Habs!' Montreal Canadiens fans are everywhere. #GoHabsGo
