We had a great time at the Indycar race at Barber. We signed up for the car show to display the DCC sidecar. The show is organized by manufacturer and country of origin, but as soon as we pulled in, the event director placed us front and center between a classic Porsche 356 and an absolutely stunning Auburn boat tail speedster. The people at Barber always treat sidecars well.

Had a great time this weekend at DCC. We had a record number of participants and raised a record $17M to support critical cancer research. DCC has now raised a total of $100M. Our team captain @finatic1972 is truly an inspiration. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious. The Dolphins do an amazing job keeping this event running smoothly with so many participants. I didn’t get a chance to see everybody, but I did see hundreds of new people joining the thousands of returning supporters and survivors. Seeing so many survivors out there gives hope to those still in the fight.💪 This is a wonderful event that supports a great cause. Next year will be even bigger. #OneTeamOneFight

Shoutout to Oscar Meyer for bringing the #Wienie500 to the Indy 500. Between the driver interviews, the race suits, the singing of the Oscar Meyer song, and having each team represent a regional style dog, this was an amazing event. An idea to make it even bigger next year- Host a national contest inviting people to create a video showcasing their personal recipes and how they like to enjoy each of the six regional styles. The videos would be voted on and the winner for each style would be invited to Indy and get to ride along with teams during the race as there appear to be 4 seats in each wiener mobile. The chance to race at Indy in the iconic wiener mobile would generate tremendous interest and participation. I can’t wait to see what they do next year. #Indy500 #IndyCar

Massive controversy leading up to the Oscar Meyer Weinie 500 as Team Penske just unveiled their entry featuring a bacon wrapped wiener. This was a top secret collaboration between Team Penske, Ilmor engineering, and Oscar Meyer codenamed “Project Bacon Beast.” It is estimated to produce 200 more HP and taste twice as good. A Team Penske official speaking on the condition of anonymity said, “the rulebook requires the use of an Oscar Meyer Weiner, it does not specifically prohibit the addition of Oscar Meyer bacon. We simply applied the universal principle that bacon makes everything better.” The Bacon Beast will start at the back but is still the heavy favorite to win and be eaten first. #indycar #CarbDay #indy500

Amazing to see how safety advancements allow Yuki to walk away from such a serious impact. Yuki and Red Bull will start from the back in tomorrow’s Formula 1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. A few years ago a similar crash may have sent him to the hospital rather than back to the garage. I am glad he is ok.
