It's hard to believe it's been 15 years.
Scott Bostwick wasn't just my uncle. He was a father figure, a coach, a mentor, and one of the biggest influences in my life.
He taught me lessons that went far beyond football. He taught me about hard work, discipline, relationships, and the impact a coach can have on the lives of others.
The older I get, the more I realize how much of who I am today was shaped by his influence.
The reason I coach isn't because of wins, championships, or titles.
I coach because of the impact a coach can have on a young person's life.
I experienced that firsthand through Coach Bostwick.
Fifteen years later, his influence is still being felt through the players, coaches, friends, and family members he impacted along the way.
I'm grateful for every lesson, every conversation, and every moment.
I only hope that through coaching, I can have a small part of the impact on others that he had on me.
Miss you, Coach.
Forever grateful.
