Today we held a great joint meeting with the CPG for Funerals and Bereavement. We heard from their Chair, Mark Isherwood, about the sector in Wales. It was an engaging discussion about how we can solve some of the issues the sector faces at a devolved and national level.

Another fantastic Funerals, Coroners and Bereavement APPG meeting this week. The group heard from Sir Jonathan Michael who chaired the Fuller Inquiry and had insightful discussions around funeral director regulation.

Today we met with the Law Commission to discuss their consultation on burials and cremation. Thank you to everyone who came along for what proved to be a useful and engaging discussion.

The Funerals and Bereavement APPG are pleased to share that the group has been reconstituted following the General Election. We held the inaugural meeting with the Chair, @CatSmithMP, to discuss the issues facing the sector and look forward to continuing our work in this area.
