This is a painful and difficult day in Israel. I am shocked by the horrific terror attack in the Sharon region, in which an Israeli citizen was murdered and others were injured. My heart goes out to the family of the victim, and I am praying for the full and speedy recovery of all those injured in the attack. I commend our security and emergency services who operated with courage and resolve at the scene of the attack and continue to protect the people of Israel. Once again, we feel the heavy cost of murderous terror against our people and the ceaseless efforts to attack Israeli citizens, wherever they may be. Israel will continue to act forcefully against the threat of violent terror in all its forms, and against all those who seek to harm us. We will not allow our enemies to undermine our security, our freedom, and our right to live in safety.
