Women, if you ever get your man to open up and tell you what he thinks, and you proceed to tell him he's "thinking wrong" congratulations, you just lost that privilege.
If ADHD was just forgetting/misplacing things, I could handle that, easy.
But it's so much more than forgetfulness. Your brain subconsciously rejects stability, and fixates on things that are exciting but unstable. Plus a lifetime of shame and guilt for being this way.
The worst part about ADHD isn't forgetting stuff or missing deadlines. It's the constant dread that you're broken, incapable of trusting yourself, and feeling like a failure.

I've contacted some local musicians (frat brothers) about putting together an alumni jazz band for the local university next year. I haven't had anything to light a fire under me to practice sax at all, so not only would this do it, it'd be a win for the university as well.
ADHD is like 50% not working, 50% working frantically to make up for the not working part, 50% thinking about what I should be doing (but not actually working), and 50% not sleeping (but trying to).
People are tired of phone menus and AI-generated support bots and foreign call centers.
When everything becomes automated, scripted, and outsourced, the people who can connect person-to-person are the ones who will succeed.
What are you doing to connect to people face-to-face?
