The 52-year-old white, male fugitive, Carl Cacconie, was convicted on six counts of lewd acts with a child younger than 14 years old in El Dorado County on July 17, 2025. His sentencing was scheduled for Aug. 25, 2025.
He now faces additional criminal charges.

Martha Holladay, 43, shot and killed by her husband, Richard Holladay, 52, in a murder-suicide at their home at 5360 North Hillbrook Trace, Johns Creek, Georgia.
Johns Creek police said a child called 911 around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 7 to report a domestic dispute between his parents. Authorities arrived to find both parents dead and their children - boys aged 17, 13, and 12 - unharmed.
"Preliminary investigations indicate the female died from a gunshot wound to the head and that the male died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head," police said in a statement. "Although investigations are early and ongoing, detectives believe the male shot and killed the female and then took his own life."
