💥Domestic TWOC in South Devon whereby male has driven off extremely intoxicated ….. Saka’s handler found the car crashed & abandoned so over to Saka who tracked to one very drunk man trying to hide in bushes …. One in custody for TWOC, drink drive & disqualified driving 💥

After a male ran from units leaving behind gloves & a torch, PD Bill arrived, tracked down the road and through hedges, over a fence and into a holiday park. Male seen running with another male and found by Bill hiding under a van. Both arrested and known for vehicle thefts! 👍🏼🐾

Puppy walker Kim & I did think that TPD Zee was probably too reserved to become a Police dog. But in the last couple of weeks Kim had noticed a change in his confidence. Last week he passed a boldness test, gun test and all the work tests so we are happy for him to continue.

TPD Zee had been seized by the RSPCA on welfare grounds having been injured by another dog at the home he was at. So we weren’t sure how he would cope at such a busy place as the Devon County show. I’m pleased to say both TPD Zee and TPD Inca coped brilliantly.

Our trials didn’t go to plan, but we had a great time learned a lot and were immensely honoured to receive the Endeavour trophy from the NFRSA: a wonderful charity who support retired service animals from across the emergency service family 🐶💙 @The_NFRSA

Our 4 competitors at the National Police dog trials all finished in the top 10 out of 21 competitors with PD Gus & Noah coming 2nd overall. The crowd loved PD Albert’s criminal work. Top Left Luke & PD Sid, Noah with PD Gus, bottom left John with PD Albert, Kimmo with PD Goose👏

PD Albert and John just completed their Part 3 at the National Police dog trials and a more proud puppy walker you couldn’t find. Have to admit I couldn’t control my emotions at the end of their display in the company of his breeder Ceara and Lady B😢👏

PD Rip called to an incident where grinding was heard at a derelict building and suspected copper theft. Not long after units arrive, 3 males run from the area after seeing Police. Rip conducts a search of the vicinity and locates one male hiding out of sight! One in custody! 🐾

Reports of a burglary in progress at a convenience store in Torquay whereby three males had made off… Saka was quickly at the scene & tracked to all three males trying to hide in a cul-de-sac, finding discarded stolen items on the way… three males in custody for burglary 💪🏼🔥🐾

After two runners from a bike wearing no helmets, PD Rip was deployed where he searched/tracked locating one hiding in a hedge! Second male was seen running into gardens where RIP located him hiding under a tree house! Both arrested for driving offences. Nice work Rip & handler!

On Sunday, we celebrated our amazing service animals with the first ever Service of Thanksgiving in the UK. Hundreds came to @GlosCathedral and thousands joined online. It was poignant, moving, and reminded us of the remarkable service our dogs and horses give us. Our gratitude is endless - to The Dean of Gloucester and his cathedral staff; to the MANY handlers who came from all over the country from the services we support to be with us; to @AuraCareLiving for their kind sponsorship of the event; to the volunteers; to Newent & District Choral Society and the cathedral choir; and to everyone who joined us in person, or online. Our amazing ambassadors were there too; @nickyJphoto - @LlewelynBowen - @JLlewelynBowen - @Cat_The_Vet - as well as dear friends @PipTomson and @alexlovelltv and they were joined by Gloucestershire’s High Sheriff, - Dame Fiona Reynolds. Also thanks to our wonderful @CotswoldTV Tom, who has taken loads of footage - that’s for another post! A special thanks to @ASPolice who kindly brought two beautiful police horses to meet the public - it was very special to have them there, watching gently over the dozens of handlers and dogs from all over the UK. And our love and respect to @VicPictoria who took all these wonderful photos - they have made many memories for us.
