Is this in New Jersey yet? If not, it soon will be.
McDonald's announced they're replacing cashiers with kiosks in California just after the $20 minimum wage kicked in. Shocking to absolutely no one who understands basic economics. When you artificially price labor above its market value, employers find substitutes. Machines, automation, or they simply eliminate positions entirely. The teenagers who desperately need that first job experience? Gone. The single mother trying to re-enter the workforce after years away? Priced out by someone with more skills. You've just created a legal barrier that prevents the least skilled workers from competing on the one thing they had going for them: willingness to work for less while they build experience. Politicians pat themselves on the back for "helping workers" while unemployment among young minorities hits double digits. The workers who keep their jobs benefit (temporarily), but the invisible victims, those who never get hired in the first place, don't make headlines. Economics doesn't care about your good intentions.

Noncitizens were caught voting in New Jersey elections. They were on the voter rolls for YEARS before anyone caught it. This is exactly why we need the SAVE America Act to safeguard our elections.
EXCLUSIVE: Noncitizens in New Jersey were on the voter rolls for years — and some even cast ballots before asking to be removed, according to documents obtained through public records requests. Records reviewed by the NJGOP and RNC show multiple noncitizens seeking citizenship told election officials they were unknowingly registered to vote, with several pointing to the DMV as the source. Most had no voting history, but county records show at least some voted in elections before being removed from the rolls. The records were uncovered after Republicans requested voter roll data from all 21 New Jersey counties and are drawing renewed attention to how noncitizens were registered and what safeguards could be put in place to catch the errors sooner.

We need voter ID, paper ballots, single day voting and to ban VBM (Go back to absentee ballots only if needed).
Our Election Integrity Task Force has uncovered evidence of hundreds of non-citizens having been listed on New Jersey’s voter rolls. We need reforms to our system to ensure only those eligible can be registered and vote Election integrity is not a partisan or political issue - it is the very foundation of our democracy. New Jerseyans deserve safe and fair elections, and decisive action must be taken swiftly to ensure this. njgop.org/2026/06/08/njgop-e…

Hello @NJAssemblyGOP @NJSenateGOP. I thought the NJ legislature allocates funding. How is this action by the governor legal?
NEWS: We are increasing funding for the Detention Deportation Defense Initiative by $12 million – for a total of $20.2 million. We are also launching a Rapid Legal Response Initiative to expand statewide legal capacity for emergency immigration defense and support immigrant families across New Jersey. These actions will help ensure more people in New Jersey's communities receive due process under the law and more New Jersey attorneys are mobilized to stand up for the fundamental human rights of detainees and their families.

Self-deportation is the fastest, safest method.
Those in the United States illegally will be found, arrested, fined, and removed — along with all of their illegal alien friends and relatives. LEAVE NOW: DHS.GOV/CBPHOME

Boy, this timing is a bit suspect. I don't ever remember a statewide crusade over correctional facilities that NEW JERSEY actually owns, operates, & controls. Did you know NJ's own Corrections Ombudsman described portions of New Jersey State Prison in Trenton as inhumane & called for housing units to be flat-out demolished? Crumbling cell blocks, blistering heat, unsafe conditions SO BAD that NJ's own watchdog concluded they should no longer remain in service. Next up is Edna Mahan Women's Prison— arguably the biggest stain in the history of the NJ Department of Corrections. Long & sordid history of abuse, lawsuits, investigations, federal crackdowns, YEARS before the state addressed it. The federal findings were so scathing that they forced @GovMurphy's hand to close the prison & replace the facility. Federal Findings: justice.gov/crt/page/file/12… Federal Consent Decree: justice.gov/archives/opa/pr/… The state itself reports poor medical care, mold, rodents, flooding, sewage, heat-related illness, communication & visitation issues, violent assaults, retaliation complaints, etc. across the NJDOC. The state also reported that 336 inmates died in NJ prisons between 2018 & 2024, including suicides, overdoses, homicides, & accidents. THAT IS HORRIFIC. Now here's where it gets confusing. Nearly that entire period overlaps with then-Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill's tenure in Washington. So considering that timeline, do you remember our new @GovSherrillNJ & friends storming prison gates on Memorial Day, climbing fences at New Jersey State Prison, or throwing hands with law enforcement to get inside Edna Mahan Women's Prison? You know, I just don't remember any of that. But slap the words @DHSgov & ICE on a building and suddenly it's the moral outrage of this generation. You draw your own conclusions. What say you, @NewJerseyOAG ?

Reports about conditions at Delaney Hall are shocking. Bad or no medical care, no toilet paper, worms in food. Even a report of tuberculosis. With @GovSherrillNJ and @NJDeptofHealth, we are suing Geo Group to secure immediate access to conduct a full health inspection.

On the evening of May 28th, approximately 100 anti-ICE rioters gathered around the Delaney Hall ICE facility. Rioters bit, kicked, and punched law enforcement officers. Governor Sherrill refused to allow state police to assist our officers. Assaulting and obstructing @ICEgov law enforcement is a crime and felony. Throughout the night, nine rioters were arrested. Anyone who assaults law enforcement will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Law and order will prevail.

It’s unfortunate that @SenatorAndyKim (who I’ve had a good relationship with) is spreading this FALSE narrative and adding fuel to the fire for no other reason than political theater. This isn’t a Holiday Inn. Illegal aliens are at this detention facility because they broke our nation’s laws. ICE has arrested brutal criminals in New Jersey, including murders, rapists, sex offenders, child predators, and drug traffickers. They are provided medical treatment, a clean place to sleep, and 3 meals a day plus commissary. Contrary to what liberal politicians and the leftist media want you to think: @DHSgov does NOT make the laws that govern the United States. Our officers are simply enforcing the laws passed by Congress. If these sanctuary politicians in Congress don’t like our nation’s laws, they have the ability to change them.
Don't let ICE and this administration lie to you. I saw inside Delaney Hall with my own eyes. The conditions are absolutely unacceptable.

What are you doing to help the people you are supposed to represent @SenatorAndyKim @SenBooker @GovSherrillNJ?
Some New Jersey motorists, already shouldering car insurance costs that are among the highest in the nation, saw their rates rise as much as 32.5% in the past two years — far faster than inflation and nearly five times the rate that triggers regulatory review. So my account was locked over night for calling a politician a harmless name. Violent Speech they said. I’ve been insulted by people using extremely vulgar terms and threatening language but apparently it only matters when you upset a Democrat. X is turning back into Twitter.

This is nothing more than a political stunt by New Jersey sanctuary politicians for fundraising clicks. There is NO hunger strike at Delaney Hall. There are no subprime conditions.   @SenBooker, @SenatorAndyKim, @RepMenendez, @RepNellie, @FrankPallone, @GovSherrillNJ and dozens of New Jersey sanctuary politicians chose to spend their Memorial Day weekend smearing ICE law enforcement. They should be thanking our law enforcement for removing these murderers, pedophiles, rapists, and drug traffickers from their state. Would these sanctuary politicians like to house these criminals in their homes or have them as neighbors?   We need these sanctuary politicians to stop peddling this garbage and cooperate with us to get these criminals out of their state.
Immigrants at Delaney Hall are on a hunger strike because they are fighting for their human rights. The conditions there are deplorable. We’re working with our partners in the state to bring an end to this nightmare and I’ll be going to Delaney Hall again to conduct oversight. Enough is enough - not in New Jersey, not anywhere.
