Kenya Launches East Africa Halal Expo & Forum 2026 to Tap into Global Market
The State Department for Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the Future Growth Forum (FGF), officially launched the East Africa Halal Expo & Forum 2026 in Nairobi.
Representing the Principal Secretary Dr. Korir Sing'Oei, Amb. Jacklyne Yonga, Deputy Director General of the Parliamentary and County Liaison Affairs, underscored the Ministry’s strong support for the initiative. She highlighted the Forum as a strategic platform to position Kenya and East Africa at the heart of the global halal economy.
The sector is projected to exceed USD 7 trillion encompassing food, finance, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and travel. Read more on
