🔳 There is growing anger across sections of israeli media and politics regarding Trump’s emerging agreement with Iran.
🔳 Hebrew Channel 12 reported that israel requested access to the memorandum of understanding being negotiated between Washington and Tehran but was refused.
🔳 Switzerland’s Foreign Ministry announced that the U.S.-Iran agreement is expected to be signed on Friday at the Bürgenstock resort in central Switzerland.
🔳 israel Hayom, citing American officials, reported that Trump is considering dismissing senior figures in his administration who opposed the agreement with Iran, including the Secretary of Defense and the Director of the CIA.
🔳 Channel 13 reported that the United States prevented israel from launching a new large-scale military operation in Gaza.
▪️ The same report claimed the israeli occupation army is instead pursuing what military sources described as a “creeping annexation” of areas under its control in Gaza.
🔳 Channel 13 also reported that israeli military officials fear Washington could seek to impose an israeli withdrawal from Lebanon as early as Friday.
▪️ According to israeli officials quoted by the channel, israel has accepted that Washington will determine policy regarding Iran but is seeking to retain influence over developments in Lebanon.
🔳 Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem criticised the Palestinian Authority leadership, accusing it of remaining in a wait-and-see position regarding Gaza and broader national issues.
▪️ In a separate statement, Qassem accused the Authority of issuing decisions affecting the Palestinian political system without national consensus and warned that partisan control of Palestinian institutions was deepening political division.
🔳 The Palestinian Embassy in Cairo rejected a decision by the head of the Supreme Authority for Tribal Affairs in the southern governorates to establish a committee of sheikhs and dignitaries in Egypt, stressing that the move carries no official status.
🔳 New polling showed Trump’s popularity among israelis has collapsed dramatically since the end of the war with Iran. Another survey showed continued shifts within israeli politics, with Gadi Eisenkot gaining ground while Netanyahu and Bennett lost support.
