A routine inspection at a #GeneralAcoustics #UltraLab Advanced Field station at the Wadden Sea National Park in Germany. The system was installed to evaluate wave direction spectra at flood situations at salt marsh areas utilizing highly resolving narrow beam ultrasonic sensors.

We are looking back to a successful AMT’23 conference last week. It is always exciting to learn about recent trends and the big open questions in towing tanks and ship model basins. Thank you Mehmet Atlar for this fruitful and hospitable event in the magnificent city of Istanbul.

We recently conducted comprehensive measurements with our multichannel #UltraLab at our test basin. The objective was to outline the possibilities of various sensor arrays. Results show the capabilities to precisely record passing wave fields and to evaluate their propagation.
