If we are constantly striving for and fixated on feeling and thinking a certain way (Happy, Positive,etc..), we will ironically overreact to and fixate on the small, unavoidable discomfort and frustrations that are part of life, leading us back to a greater striving to feel good!

Announcers often claim golfers need “short-term memory loss”. Please don’t judge yourself when you don’t attain this. It’s not possible or necessary. Remembering fear and danger is a survival skill. Accept, don’t judge, and there is no need to avoid a bad memory.

Improvement and excellence aren’t goals! They are byproducts of self-awareness and fulfillment. Folks come to me when they want to play better only to learn it is about feeling better.  They will play better when they feel better
