There are 4 types of Female Genital Mutilation. FGM Type 4 includes labia pulling or stretching or kudhonza in shona mostly practised in Zambia, Uganda, Zimbabwe and many other places. An expert warned of cervical cancer yesterday. The law in UK outlawed all four types of FGM.

Sierra Leone declared a state of emergency on rape. They could have done so on Female Genital Mutilation and all harmful cultural practices too. Piece meal actions don't eliminate gender based violence.
