Secret mission complete! I asked parents to send a selfie and a description of their favourite book they read as a child. Lots took part and the children loved matching their parent to the book! @WorldBookDayUK @PrimaryGreat

Year 3 sat and listened beautifully to year 6 reading a story to them this afternoon for @WorldBookDayUK. It was lovely to see our pupils showing kindness and respect towards each other and mixing with a different age group. @PrimaryGreat @GCP_Y5and6 #DANCE

A fantastic world book day in reception. We’ve been doing story hunts, creating book covers and making a beanstalk from Jack and the beanstalk. We were also lucky enough to receive our own book today take home. @PrimaryGreat @GCPreading #WorldBookDay2026 #gcpreading
