🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – MYSTERY CREEK FIELD DAYS 🚨
The GE pushback continues.
This Wednesday-Friday (10–12 June), we’ll be holding banners along the route into Mystery Creek Field Days to raise awareness about the Gene Technology Bill and HSNO Amendment Bill - legislation that would reshape New Zealand forever, and not in a good way.
We’re looking for volunteers who can spare a couple of hours between 7:00am and 9:00–10:00am to help hold banners and show passing Field Days attendees that many New Zealanders still have serious concerns about genetic engineering in our food and environment.
📍 Location: Mystery Creek Road area
⚠️ Important:
• Parking is not permitted on Mystery Creek Road, so you’ll need to be dropped off on the road.
• Dress warmly - conditions are expected to be fine but cold.
• Wear sturdy footwear.
• Bring a positive attitude and a strong pair of arms to help hold banners.
We’ll have several large banners positioned along the route, including large landscape banner, creating a visible and respectful presence for everyone entering the event.
Every person standing with us helps send a powerful message: New Zealanders deserve honesty, transparency, and a genuine say in decisions that affect our food and environment.
If you can join us for even a short time, we’d love to have your support.
